#hpbdsarachstefith: Haji Lane Yin-Yang

BY STEFITH

Hello folks, and welcome to the first of the five-part series known as #sarachstefithturnsone, where for five consecutive days leading up to the day the blog turns one on Sept 20th, we’ll have a fun new post every day with something we’re so excited to share 😀

To kickstart our five days of celebration, here’s the first- our adventure to Haji Lane in late August where decided to exemplify how different and yet complementary we are through our outfits. Warning: picture-heavy post ahead!

I have no clue what we’re talking about in this shot

Sarach is the shining example of “don’t worry, be happy”.

this is an accurate reflection of my soul, maybe

This is me, trying, and probably failing, to act cute.

we’re trying to show off our shoes and handbags.

this one we’re trying to show off our accessories

A wise turtle once told me that where there is darkness, there will be light, and where there is light, there will be darkness.

A wise turtle once told me that where there is darkness, there will be light, and where there is light, there will be darkness. Yes, we have cheesy friendship necklaces. Shush.

Sarach is wearing: Denim jacket from BNNJeans , top from Purpur,  jeans from Topshop, sandals from Forever 21, necklace from Lovisa, ring from Diva, bag from Tocco Toscano.

Stefith is wearing: Denim shirt and jeggings from Uniqlo, top from YoungHungryFree, boots from Mimosa, necklace from Lovisa, bracelet from Won’tyouburnb*tch, watch from Swatch, sunglasses from H&M, bag from ShopKysse.

This is our friendship- sitting, chatting, Sarach being silly, me laughing at Sarach….

All photos were shot by the very lovely Joelle- check out her blog!

Thanks for reading, folks! This photoshoot made me realise just how short I am next to Sarach.

Oh well.

We had a lot of fun taking these photos, as well as figuring out our outfits and exploring Haji Lane at the same time. I think the whole concept of yin-yang applies to Sarach and I very clearly- we’re two sides of the same coin, and while she’s definitely the cheerier one, and I’m a pinnacle of gloom, we do rub off each other and coexist.

Stay tuned to tomorrow for more awesome stuff to celebrate Sarach & Stefith turning one 😀 Cheers!
